Which three companies established The Pokémon Company in 1998?
Answer
Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures
Answer
Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures
Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures established The Pokémon Company in 1998.
The organization was created to manage the growing Pokémon brand across games, animation, trading cards, merchandise, licensing, and international business. Its formation followed the success of the original Game Boy games and the rapid expansion of Pokémon into a multimedia franchise.
Each founding company had a distinct role. Game Freak developed the core games, Nintendo published and supported them, and Creatures contributed to game development and other Pokémon projects. Together, they created a structure capable of coordinating the many parts of the franchise.
The Pokémon Company is sometimes mistaken for the original developer or publisher. It was established after the franchise began and is primarily a brand-management and business organization. In 2009, Pokémon USA and Pokémon UK were merged into The Pokémon Company International to manage the brand outside Asia.
