Which thrash metal band's mascot is named Vic Rattlehead?

The story behind the answer

The thrash metal band whose mascot is named Vic Rattlehead is Megadeth.

Vic Rattlehead is a skeletal figure in a suit and serves as Megadeth’s illustrated mascot. His design represents the expression “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”: a metal visor covers his eyes, metal caps cover his ears, and his mouth is clamped shut. The character also symbolizes censorship and the suppression of free expression.

Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine created the original concept, which was developed for the band’s debut album, Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! Vic later appeared on album covers, merchandise, music videos, and in the band’s stage presentations.

Vic is especially easy to confuse with other metal imagery because the genre is full of recurring skulls, demons, and horror-inspired mascots. He belongs specifically to Megadeth. Anthrax, Slayer, and Metallica are fellow major thrash metal bands, but none of them uses Vic Rattlehead as its mascot.
