Which team did Jorge Martín ride for when he won the 2024 MotoGP title?

The story behind the answer

Jorge Martín rode for Prima Pramac Racing when he won the 2024 MotoGP World Championship.

Martín delivered Pramac its first premier-class riders’ title in the team’s final season as a Ducati satellite operation. He beat reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia by 10 points, scoring 508 points to Bagnaia’s 498 after the championship finale in Barcelona.

The achievement was historically significant because Martín became the first independent-team rider to win the MotoGP-era title. Pramac used Ducati machinery, but it was not Ducati’s factory Lenovo team; that distinction explains why Ducati Lenovo Team is a tempting but incorrect option.

Martín moved to Aprilia for 2025, while Pramac switched its manufacturer partnership to Yamaha. Those later changes do not alter the team he represented during his 2024 championship campaign.
