Which superhero duo appeared in the first episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies?

Batman and Robin appeared in the first episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.

The episode, titled “The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair,” premiered in 1972 and brought Mystery Inc. together with DC Comics’ famous crime-fighting duo. Its story combined the gang’s investigation style with Batman and Robin’s superhero action, creating one of the franchise’s best-known early crossovers.

This appearance is sometimes confused with later Scooby-Doo productions that featured other DC characters. Batman and Robin returned in several subsequent Scooby-Doo projects, including animated films and television episodes, but their first franchise team-up was in the opening episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
