Which studio developed the VR title Star Wars: Squadrons?

The story behind the answer

Motive Studios developed the VR-capable Star Wars title Star Wars: Squadrons. The studio is commonly branded as Motive Studio, but “Motive Studios” identifies the same Electronic Arts development team and is a fair answer to the question.

Motive was established by Electronic Arts in Montreal and became associated with major Star Wars projects before leading development of Squadrons. The game puts players directly in the cockpits of iconic starfighters, including X-wings, TIE fighters, Y-wings, and TIE bombers. Its campaign alternates between a New Republic squadron and an Imperial squadron after the destruction of the second Death Star.

The other options are studios connected to different Star Wars projects. Respawn Entertainment developed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor, while EA DICE and Criterion Games were involved with the 2017 Star Wars Battlefront II. Squadrons launched with support for PC VR and PlayStation VR.
