Which Stevie Wonder album was released in 1970 and includes “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours”?

Stevie Wonder’s 1970 album Signed, Sealed & Delivered includes “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.”

The album was released by Motown during an important transition in Wonder’s career. He was still a young star, but he was becoming increasingly involved in songwriting, arranging, and production. The title track became one of his best-known early recordings and later became a standard associated with celebratory and romantic occasions.

Signed, Sealed & Delivered also contains “Heaven Help Us All,” a socially conscious song that won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song. Other album tracks helped establish Wonder’s ability to combine polished Motown arrangements with more personal musical ideas.

The title is sometimes shortened informally to Signed, Sealed, Delivered, but the album’s credited title includes the ampersand. It should not be confused with Wonder’s 1968 hit album For Once in My Life or his 1970 album Where I’m Coming From.
