Which Starbucks product line consists of premium coffees sold in small batches?

The story behind the answer

Starbucks Reserve is Starbucks’ product line for premium coffees selected and sold in small batches.

The Reserve program was created to highlight distinctive coffees and unusual origins beyond the company’s core menu. Reserve coffees may receive special roasting, preparation, and presentation, and they are often associated with Reserve coffee bars and Roasteries.

This line differs from Starbucks’ widely distributed core coffees, such as Pike Place Roast. It also differs from Starbucks Blonde Roast, which describes a lighter roast style available in the regular Starbucks range. Starbucks VIA, meanwhile, is an instant-coffee product rather than the name of the premium small-batch program.

Reserve locations give customers access to brewing methods and coffees that may not be available in ordinary Starbucks stores. The program connects retail coffee service with Starbucks’s roasting, sourcing, and tasting efforts.
