Which soundtrack won Favorite Soundtrack at the 2025 American Music Awards?

Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 won Favorite Soundtrack at the 2025 American Music Awards.

The soundtrack came from the second season of Arcane, Netflix’s animated series set in the League of Legends universe. Rather than functioning as a conventional film score, it combines songs from multiple performers with music written to support the show’s characters, conflicts, and dramatic set pieces.

The 2025 Favorite Soundtrack field included Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 alongside Hazbin Hotel, Moana 2, Twisters: The Album, and Wicked: The Soundtrack. Arcane’s victory was therefore against a mixed group of animated, theatrical, and film-related releases—not just traditional movie soundtracks.

Readers sometimes confuse the title with Arcane’s first-season soundtrack or with individual songs featured in the series. The AMA honor went to the Season 2 soundtrack entry as a whole. The win also reflected the growing presence of television and game-inspired releases in mainstream music-award categories.
