Which sock company donates a pair for every pair sold?

The story behind the answer

Bombas is the sock company that donates a pair for every pair sold.

The company was founded in 2013 by Randy Goldberg and David Heath after they learned that socks were among the most requested items at homeless shelters. That discovery shaped Bombas’s central business model: selling specially designed socks while donating clothing to people experiencing homelessness through shelter and charity partners.

Bombas first gained broad attention after appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2014, where the founders made a deal with investor Daymond John. Although socks are its signature product, the company later expanded into T-shirts, underwear, and other apparel. The donation promise also broadened beyond socks, so the most precise modern description is that Bombas donates an item of clothing for each item purchased.

A common mix-up is TOMS, which became famous for donating shoes under an earlier one-for-one model. Warby Parker uses a similar idea for eyewear, but Bombas is the canonical answer for the sock question.
