Which singer released the 2021 album Heaux Tales? Jazmine Sullivan released Heaux Tales on January 8, 2021.

Heaux Tales is Sullivan’s fourth studio album and her first major project after Reality Show in 2015. The R&B set explores love, sexuality, self-worth, heartbreak, and the complicated ways women discuss relationships and desire.

Rather than relying only on conventional songs, the album intersperses Sullivan’s performances with spoken-word stories from several women. That structure gives Heaux Tales a conversational, confessional quality and connects it to the storytelling tradition of soul and contemporary R&B.

The project debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart. Its singles included “Lost One,” “Pick Up Your Feelings,” and “Girl Like Me,” featuring H.E.R. The album won Best R&B Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards; the later deluxe project was titled Heaux Tales, Mo’ Tales.
