Which singer released the 2019 album Cuz I Love You? Lizzo released it.

Cuz I Love You is the third studio album by American singer and rapper Lizzo. Released on April 19, 2019, through Nice Life and Atlantic Records, it served as her major-label debut. The album grew from a recording period that stretched from 2016 to 2018 and combined pop, hip-hop, soul, and R&B influences.

The record introduced a broad audience to songs such as “Juice,” while its deluxe edition added “Truth Hurts,” which later became Lizzo’s first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single. Other notable tracks include “Tempo,” featuring Missy Elliott, and “Jerome.” The album’s bold vocals and themes of confidence, independence, and self-worth helped make it a breakthrough release.

A common confusion is treating Cuz I Love You as Lizzo’s first-ever project. She had already released the 2013 album Lizzobangers and the 2016 EP Coconut Oil. Summer Walker, H.E.R., and SZA are contemporary R&B artists, but none released this album.
