Which Saturn moon shepherds the inner edge of the F ring alongside Pandora?

The story behind the answer

Prometheus shepherds the inner edge of Saturn’s F ring alongside Pandora. The two small moons exert gravitational forces that help confine the ring, making them a famous example of shepherd satellites.

Prometheus orbits inside the F ring, while Pandora travels outside it. Their interactions create waves, kinks and other changing structures in the ring’s narrow strands. Voyager spacecraft images first revealed the moons’ relationship, and later observations refined their masses and orbital behavior.

The astronomical name deliberately echoes Greek mythology, where Prometheus and Pandora are linked figures. Saturn’s Prometheus is not the same entity as the Titan who stole fire in the myth, though the naming connection is intentional. Epimetheus is another Saturnian moon, but it does not occupy Prometheus’s inner shepherd position.
