Which reggae singer released the 2005 album 'Welcome to Jamrock'?

The story behind the answer

Damian Marley released the 2005 album Welcome to Jamrock. It was his third studio album and helped establish him as a major reggae and dancehall artist in his own right, separate from—but connected to—the musical legacy of his father, Bob Marley.

The album was released in September 2005, reaching number seven on the US Billboard 200 and number one on the US Reggae Albums chart. Its title track addressed poverty, crime, political tension and everyday life in Jamaica, giving the record a sharper social edge than the album title might suggest.

Damian made the album with substantial help from his brother Stephen Marley, who co-produced the project. Guests included Nas, Black Thought, Bounty Killer and Bobby Brown. A common mix-up is to choose Stephen because of his production role, but Damian is the album’s primary artist.
