Which R&B singer's 1996 album 'Secrets' included the hit 'Un-Break My Heart'?

Which R&B singer’s 1996 album “Secrets” included the hit “Un-Break My Heart”? Toni Braxton released the album and recorded the hit. Secrets was Braxton’s second studio album, issued by LaFace Records and Arista Records in June 1996.

“Un-Break My Heart” was written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster. Although the song is an intensely emotional breakup ballad, Braxton initially disliked it and did not want to record it. Arista president Clive Davis believed the song suited her voice, and it became one of the defining recordings of her career.

The song was a major international success, spending 11 consecutive weeks at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number two on the U.S. R&B chart and won Braxton the 1997 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Secrets became an eight-times-platinum album in the United States and sold more than 15 million copies worldwide. The album’s other major single, “You’re Makin’ Me High,” gave Braxton her first U.S. number-one single.
