Steve Lacy co-wrote and produced Ravyn Lenae’s EP Crush.
Released on February 9, 2018, Crush was Lenae’s third extended play and contained five tracks. Lacy produced the project and collaborated with Lenae on its songwriting, helping shape its blend of alternative R&B, pop, funk and guitar-led textures.
The EP included “Sticky,” an early standout that helped establish Lenae’s voice beyond her earlier work with Chicago producer Monte Booker. Lacy’s involvement was unusually broad: he was not merely a guest performer or one-track producer, but a central creative partner across the project.
