Travis Scott partnered with McDonald’s for the nationwide Travis Scott Meal in September 2020. The limited-time promotion featured the rapper’s preferred McDonald’s order and launched across participating U.S. restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meal included a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, lettuce, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard, along with medium fries, barbecue sauce, and a Sprite. It was available from September 8 through October 4, 2020, with an advertised price of $6 in the United States, although prices could vary by location.
The collaboration was notable because it was McDonald’s first celebrity-named menu meal since the Michael Jordan promotion in 1992. It also became a model for later artist partnerships, including meals associated with J Balvin, BTS, and Saweetie.
The other choices are associated with separate McDonald’s campaigns or collaborations: J Balvin received his own meal later in 2020, while Post Malone and Drake were not the rapper behind this promotion. The meal’s branding was also tied to Scott’s Cactus Jack identity.
