Which rapper features on Coldplay's "Lost+" remix?
Answer
Jay-Z
Answer
Jay-Z
Jay-Z features on Coldplay’s “Lost+” remix. The track is a reworked version of “Lost!”, a song from Coldplay’s 2008 album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
“Lost+” was created after Coldplay and Jay-Z recorded together in New York. Jay-Z added a rap section based on a freestyle he had performed on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show. The remix premiered on BBC Radio 1 in October 2008 and appeared on Coldplay’s Prospekt’s March EP.
The “Lost!” title has several variations that can cause confusion. “Lost?” is a stripped-down piano recording featuring Chris Martin, “Lost-” is instrumental, and “Lost@” is a live version. Jay-Z appears specifically on “Lost+,” not on the standard album version. The pair later performed the song together at the 2009 Grammy Awards, where the live performance helped the song re-enter the US charts.
