The Pond Skater Pokémon that can secrete a sweet liquid from the tip of its head is Surskit.
Surskit is a dual Bug- and Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Its design is based on a pond skater, an insect that moves across the surface of still water using surface tension. In the Pokémon world, Surskit glides over ponds and lakes on its broad, water-skimming legs.
Pokédex entries describe the liquid as sweet, sugary, or syrup-like. Surskit releases it when it senses danger or finds itself in a difficult situation. The unusual secretion is one of the species’ signature defensive traits and also explains why some descriptions connect it with attracting prey through scent.
Surskit is often confused with Dewpider, another Water-type Pokémon associated with aquatic habitats. Dewpider carries a bubble of water around its head, whereas Surskit is the small pond-skating Pokémon with the sweet secretion. In the main series games, Surskit evolves into Masquerain.
