Which Pokémon is number 000 in the Unova Pokédex?

Victini is number 000 in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Psychic- and Fire-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Black and White.

Victini's unusual position comes before Snivy, the first starter listed in the regional Pokédex. Its number reflects the special role Victini plays in the Unova games and is separate from its National Pokédex number, which is 494.

The number 000 is easy to confuse with a missing or unused entry, but it is an intentional placement. Reshiram and Zekrom are major Unova Legendary Pokémon, while Genesect is another Mythical Pokémon from the same generation; none occupies Unova's 000 slot.
