The New Heights podcast episode revealed the cover, track listing, and release date of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift appeared on the sports podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce. The episode aired on August 13, 2025, after the album title had already been revealed through a countdown on Swift’s website.
The appearance became a major cultural event because it disclosed several key album details at once. More than 1.3 million viewers watched live, and the episode set a Guinness World Record for the most concurrent views for a podcast on YouTube. It also became the show’s most-watched episode on that platform.
The podcast is often associated primarily with football because of its hosts. For this album rollout, however, it served as a music-announcement platform and introduced the cover, complete track listing, featured artist, and October release date.
