Désiré Doué assisted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s opening goal in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup.
Doué passed to Kvaratskhelia on the left in the 20th minute. Kvaratskhelia then cut into the penalty area and finished with his right foot to put Paris Saint-Germain ahead.
Doué later scored PSG’s winning goal in the second half, receiving a pass from substitute Ousmane Dembélé. This means Dembélé assisted Doué, while Doué assisted Kvaratskhelia.
Those two combinations are easy to mix up because both PSG goals involved a different creator and finisher. The final ended PSG 2–1 Aston Villa after Brian Madjo equalised shortly before half-time.
