Which perspective option can PUBG players use besides third-person?
Answer
First-person
Answer
First-person
Besides third-person, PUBG players can use a first-person perspective.
PUBG supports both third-person perspective, commonly abbreviated TPP, and first-person perspective, or FPP. In third-person mode, players can see their character from behind, which allows them to look around corners or over cover without fully exposing the character. First-person mode places the camera inside the character’s viewpoint, making positioning and line-of-sight decisions more dependent on what the avatar could directly see.
The two perspectives use the same broad battle-royale structure: players parachute onto a map, search for weapons and equipment, and fight until one player or team remains. However, the modes can feel substantially different. Third-person play emphasizes camera management and information gathering, while first-person play generally produces a more immersive and direct gunfight experience.
First-person is not a separate genre or a side-scrolling view. It is a selectable perspective option within PUBG. Similar viewpoint choices also appear in other shooters, but PUBG’s combination of first-person and third-person matches is one of its recognizable gameplay features.
