Joe Alwyn received a producer credit on Taylor Swift’s “august.”
Alwyn was credited as a producer alongside Swift and Jack Antonoff. He also used the pseudonym William Bowery on several Folklore and Evermore songwriting and production credits, but the “august” credits specifically list Joe Alwyn.
Swift and Antonoff wrote the song, while the production credits include all three collaborators. This distinction matters because songwriting and production are separate roles in a recording’s official credits.
Alwyn’s credited involvement forms part of the broader creative collaboration behind Folklore. He contributed to multiple songs on Swift’s pandemic-era albums, although he was not the co-writer of “august.”
