Which Overwatch League team won the 2021 Grand Finals?

The Shanghai Dragons won the 2021 Overwatch League Grand Finals. They defeated the Atlanta Reign by a decisive 4–0 score to claim the franchise's first Overwatch League championship.

The final was played on September 25, 2021, and concluded the fourth Overwatch League season. Shanghai entered the playoffs as the top seed after finishing the regular season with a 12–4 record. In the postseason, the Dragons defeated the San Francisco Shock, Los Angeles Gladiators, and Dallas Fuel before reaching the championship match.

Atlanta took a more difficult route to the final. After losing in the upper bracket to the Chengdu Hunters, the Reign fought through the lower bracket, defeating several strong teams, including the Dallas Fuel in the lower-bracket final. That run made the championship match a meeting between Shanghai's top-seeded consistency and Atlanta's comeback momentum.

The victory was particularly notable because Shanghai had been one of the league's original franchises in 2018 and had struggled during its early years. Lee “LIP” Jae-won was named Grand Finals MVP after the sweep.
