Dwight Schrute is the character who keeps several bobblehead dolls on his desk in The Office. Dwight, played by Rainn Wilson, is Dunder Mifflin’s intensely competitive salesman, beet farmer, and self-appointed office security expert.
The bobbleheads fit Dwight’s eccentric personality and his fascination with authority, sports, and miniature versions of important figures. One particularly memorable doll is a bobblehead of Dwight himself, which Angela Martin gives him as a Valentine’s Day gift in the second-season episode “Valentine’s Day.”
Dwight’s collection also becomes part of Jim Halpert’s pranks. In “The Alliance,” Jim places Dwight’s desk belongings, including his beloved bobblehead dolls, inside a vending machine. Dwight then has to buy his possessions back with nickels, turning ordinary office supplies into an elaborate practical joke. Viewers sometimes remember only the self-portrait bobblehead, but the question refers to the several dolls associated with Dwight’s desk.
