Which Nintendo platform received Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team?
Answer
Nintendo DS
Answer
Nintendo DS
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team was released for the Nintendo DS.
Blue Rescue Team was paired with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, which was released for the Game Boy Advance. The two versions are mostly equivalent, but Blue Rescue Team uses the Nintendo DS’s dual-screen hardware, while Red Rescue Team was designed for Nintendo’s earlier handheld.
Both games were developed by Chunsoft and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Unlike the main Pokémon role-playing games, they place the player directly in the role of a Pokémon. A personality quiz determines the player character, who then joins a rescue team and explores randomly generated dungeons.
The pair launched in Japan in November 2005. Red Rescue Team was the last Pokémon game released for the Game Boy Advance, while Blue Rescue Team demonstrated how the series could adapt to Nintendo’s newer dual-screen system.
