Which Nintendo 64 game featured 3D turn-based battles using all 151 original Pokémon?
Answer
Pokémon Stadium
Answer
Pokémon Stadium
Pokémon Stadium featured 3D turn-based battles using all 151 original Pokémon.
Developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64, Pokémon Stadium was released in Japan in 1999 and internationally in 2000. It brought the creatures from the Game Boy games into fully modeled 3D battle arenas.
The game included four tournament Cups, Gym Leader Castle challenges, multiplayer battles, and a collection of minigames. Its Transfer Pak also let players connect Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow cartridges to use their own Pokémon.
Pokémon Snap is another Nintendo 64 Pokémon title, but it is an on-rails photography game rather than a battle-focused game. Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon Battle Revolution were later console battle games for the Nintendo GameCube and Wii.
