Nolan North provides the voice of Desmond Miles in the Assassin's Creed games.
Desmond Miles is the modern-day protagonist who experiences ancestral memories through the Animus. Nolan North voices Desmond throughout the main early sequence of games, including Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, and Assassin's Creed III.
North is an American voice actor known for extensive work in video games, animation, and television. His game roles include Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series and Deadpool in several games, making him one of the industry's most recognizable performers.
Desmond's role changes across the series. He begins as a reluctant captive in the first game, then becomes increasingly involved in the struggle against the modern Templars and the threat surrounding the 2012 apocalypse storyline. Nolan North should not be confused with the actors who portray other major Assassin's Creed protagonists.
