The Michael Jackson album that includes “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” and “Rock with You” is Off the Wall.
Released in 1979, Off the Wall was Jackson’s fifth solo studio album and his first released through Epic Records. Quincy Jones produced the project after working with Jackson on the film The Wiz. The album blended disco, funk, soul, pop, and R&B at the end of the 1970s disco era.
Both songs became major singles. “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” was Jackson’s first solo number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Rock with You” later reached number one as well. Their success helped establish Jackson as a major adult solo star before Thriller.
A common mix-up is confusing Off the Wall with Thriller, Bad, or Dangerous. Those later albums are also associated with Jackson’s biggest hits, but neither song belongs to them. Off the Wall also includes “She’s Out of My Life,” “Off the Wall,” and “Rock with You.”
