Which lemon-lime soda is owned by Coca-Cola?

Sprite is the lemon-lime soda owned by The Coca-Cola Company. Its clear, citrus-flavored formula is designed around lemon and lime notes, making it a direct competitor to 7 Up and, more recently, other lemon-lime sodas such as Starry.

The drink known as Sprite today was developed in West Germany in 1959 as Fanta Klare Zitrone, meaning “clear lemon.” Coca-Cola introduced it in the United States under the Sprite name in 1961. The Sprite brand name itself had been acquired by Coca-Cola earlier, in 1960.
