Which Just Dance game was the first to include an 'Extreme' difficulty mode?

Just Dance 4 was the first Just Dance game to include an “Extreme” difficulty mode. Released in 2012, it expanded the series’ challenge system by adding specially demanding versions of selected routines, giving experienced dancers a tougher goal than the standard levels.

These Extreme routines were not simply faster versions of ordinary songs. They often used more intricate choreography, sharper movements, and more physically demanding combinations. Just Dance 4 included Extreme versions associated with songs such as “Good Feeling,” “What Makes You Beautiful,” and “Wild Wild West.”
