London is the main setting of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Released in 2015, Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes place in London during the Industrial Revolution, chiefly in 1868. The game follows twin Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they work to challenge Templar control and criminal influence across the city.
Its districts include Westminster, the City of London, Southwark, Lambeth, and other recognizable areas. Industrial technology, railways, factories, and rapidly expanding urban neighborhoods shape both the setting and the gameplay. A grappling hook and horse-drawn carriages reflect the game's nineteenth-century design.
Syndicate is distinct from Assassin's Creed Unity, whose setting is revolutionary Paris, and from Assassin's Creed III, whose main historical locations are in colonial North America. The Victorian London setting is one of Syndicate's clearest identifying features.
