Which hero is equipped with a healing staff and a pistol? Mercy is the Overwatch hero equipped with the Caduceus Staff and Caduceus Blaster. The staff is her primary support weapon, while the pistol gives her a limited way to defend herself when healing is not possible.
The Caduceus Staff has two functions. Its healing beam restores an ally’s health while Mercy remains connected to them, and its secondary beam increases an ally’s damage output. The Caduceus Blaster is a compact automatic pistol that is useful at close range, although Mercy’s design and abilities focus mainly on supporting teammates rather than dealing damage.
Mercy’s real name is Angela Ziegler, a Swiss doctor and pioneering medical researcher. She joined Overwatch as its chief medical officer and developed advanced emergency medicine, including the Valkyrie suit that allows her to fly toward allies and slow her descent.
Her Guardian Angel ability lets her rapidly move to a teammate, and her signature Resurrect ability can bring a recently eliminated ally back into the fight. Baptiste and Ana also provide healing, but neither uses Mercy’s distinctive staff-and-pistol combination.
