Which good fairy gives Aurora the gift of song?

The story behind the answer

Fauna gives Aurora the gift of song. At Aurora's christening in Disney's Sleeping Beauty, Fauna follows Flora's gift of beauty by promising the infant a lifelong musical voice.

The gifts are presented before Maleficent interrupts the ceremony. Flora's blessing concerns Aurora's beauty, while Fauna's blessing gives her song. The sequence is dramatized through “The Gifts of Beauty and Song,” a musical number associated with the christening scene.

Fauna's gift also foreshadows Aurora's later life as Briar Rose. While living in the forest, Aurora sings to the animals, and her voice carries through the woods. Her singing draws the attention of Prince Phillip, who hears her before meeting her in person; the gift therefore helps initiate their romance as well as defining Aurora's character.

A frequent mix-up is assigning the song gift to Flora because Flora is often treated as the leader of the trio. In the film, however, Flora gives beauty, Fauna gives song, and Merryweather uses her gift to soften Maleficent's curse from death to enchanted sleep.
