Which golfer won the 2023 PGA Championship?

Brooks Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club.

Koepka finished the 72-hole championship at 9-under-par 271, beating Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler by two strokes. He began the final round with a one-shot lead and closed with a 4-under 67, recovering from several bogeys with important birdies on the back nine.

The victory was Koepka’s third PGA Championship and his fifth major championship. It also made him one of only a small group of players to win the PGA Championship at least three times in the stroke-play era, alongside Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Koepka became the first golfer competing as a LIV Golf member to win a major championship.

The championship was played May 18–21, 2023, at Oak Hill’s East Course in Pittsford, New York. Club professional Michael Block also became a memorable part of the tournament after making a hole-in-one in the final round and finishing tied for 15th.
