Ferrari is the Formula One constructor with the most Constructors’ Championships.
Ferrari has won the Formula One World Constructors’ Championship 16 times, more than any other constructor. Its first title came in 1961, and its record was built across several highly successful eras, including the dominant early-2000s partnership between Michael Schumacher and the Ferrari team.
The championship measures the combined performance of a constructor’s cars over a season. It is separate from the Drivers’ Championship, although the two titles often overlap. Ferrari also leads the historical Drivers’ Championship table, but its 16 constructors’ titles and 15 drivers’ titles are different records.
McLaren is the nearest option listed, with 10 constructors’ championships, while Williams has nine and Mercedes has eight. Mercedes does hold the record for consecutive constructors’ titles, winning eight in a row from 2014 through 2021. That distinction can cause confusion: Ferrari owns the all-time total record, while Mercedes owns the longest uninterrupted streak.
