Fulham versus Chelsea was scheduled to close the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.

The west London fixture was set for Monday, 24 August 2026, at Craven Cottage. It followed nine matches played from Friday through Sunday and was the only Monday fixture in the first Match Round.
