Which Finnish metal band's debut album 'Angels Fall First' features female vocals?

The story behind the answer

The Finnish metal band whose debut album Angels Fall First features female vocals is Nightwish.

Nightwish formed in Kitee, Finland, in 1996, when keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen began developing an acoustic project that quickly expanded into symphonic metal. Angels Fall First, released in 1997, was the group’s debut studio album and introduced Tarja Turunen’s classically trained female vocals alongside Holopainen’s keyboards and occasional male vocals.

The album is often remembered as an early, raw version of Nightwish’s later sound. Its songs combine metal, keyboard-led arrangements, folk touches and orchestral ambition, although the production is less polished than on later releases such as Oceanborn and Wishmaster. A common mix-up is confusing Nightwish with Delain, Epica or Within Temptation, all of which also became associated with female-fronted or symphonic metal, but none released Angels Fall First.
