Which FIFA game introduced the Virtual Pro feature?
Answer
FIFA 10
Answer
FIFA 10
FIFA 10 introduced the Virtual Pro feature.
Virtual Pro allowed players to create a personalized footballer and develop that player through matches and performance objectives. The created professional could be used in Be a Pro-style experiences and, in appropriate modes, online team play. It expanded the series’ focus from controlling established stars to building a custom player identity.
FIFA 10 was released in 2009 and included the large-scale Be a Pro: Club and Country mode, in which users could guide a player through club football and international ambitions. Virtual Pro became especially important in later online modes, where users brought customized players into matches with friends.
The feature is sometimes confused with FIFA 11’s Personality+, which represented individual player traits, or FIFA 09’s 10-versus-10 online matches. Those are different systems. Virtual Pro refers specifically to the created-player progression and customization feature.
