Which FIFA game first used the Ignite engine?

The story behind the answer

FIFA 14 was the first FIFA game to use the Ignite engine.

EA Sports introduced Ignite as a new technology intended to improve animation, player movement, stadium detail, and crowd presentation. FIFA 14 used it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions used a different technology configuration.

The next-generation edition also introduced or emphasized features such as Precision Movement, Elite Technique, and improved team intelligence. These features were separate gameplay systems, even though they were discussed alongside the engine upgrade.

Ignite powered FIFA for several releases before FIFA 17 moved the series to Frostbite. This makes FIFA 14 the correct engine milestone, while FIFA 16 is sometimes mistakenly named because it was the final FIFA title before the Frostbite transition.
