FIFA 15 was the first FIFA game to feature all 20 Premier League stadiums.
The addition was part of EA Sports’ effort to increase the authenticity of English top-flight football. Earlier FIFA games included some licensed Premier League venues, but FIFA 15 expanded the selection to every stadium used by the league’s 20 clubs during the 2014–15 season.
The stadium presentation was supported by broadcast-style details, club-specific atmosphere and more realistic matchday visuals. This helped distinguish Premier League matches from games played in generic venues.
A common mix-up is confusing the stadium milestone with the Premier League licence itself. FIFA had represented English league football for many years before FIFA 15; the notable change was the completion of the league’s stadium collection. FIFA 15 was released in September 2014 for multiple platforms, including PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
