Which Ferrari Formula One car won the 1975 Constructors' Championship?

The story behind the answer

The Ferrari 312T won the 1975 Formula One Constructors’ Championship for Ferrari.

Designed by Mauro Forghieri, the 312T was based on the earlier 312B3 and introduced a transverse gearbox mounted behind the engine. The “T” in its name refers to that transverse transmission layout, which helped improve weight distribution and handling. Ferrari used a 3.0-liter flat-12 engine.

The car transformed Ferrari’s 1975 season after the team used the older 312B3 in the opening two races. Niki Lauda won four of five races during the middle part of the season and secured the Drivers’ Championship at Monza. Clay Regazzoni won the Italian Grand Prix at the same event, clinching Ferrari’s first Constructors’ title since 1964.

The 312T is sometimes confused with later Ferrari championship cars, including the 312T2 and 312T4. Those were related successors, but the original 312T specifically delivered the 1975 constructors’ crown.
