Which E! docuseries about Mariah Carey aired from 2016 to 2017?

The E! docuseries about Mariah Carey that aired from 2016 to 2017 was Mariah’s World.

Mariah’s World premiered on E! on December 4, 2016, and its eight-episode run concluded on January 29, 2017. The series followed Carey during her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour while also documenting preparations connected with her planned wedding to Australian businessman James Packer.

Carey was an executive producer, and the program presented backstage work, travel, performances, and parts of her personal and professional life. Although commonly described as a reality show, Carey preferred calling it a docuseries and said she wanted viewers to see more of her personality rather than a conventional celebrity-life format.

The title is easy to confuse with unofficial fan projects or other Carey television appearances, but Mariah Now, Carey Life, and Being Mariah were not the name of this E! series. Mariah’s World also differs from Carey’s scripted acting appearances, including her guest role on Empire. It aired internationally as well, including on E! outlets in several other countries.
