Which Dragons' Den investor founded Cobra Beer in 1989?

The story behind the answer

Karan Bilimoria founded Cobra Beer in 1989. While studying at Cambridge University, he launched the brand with Arjun Reddy, aiming to create a lager that paired well with spicy Indian food and was less gassy than conventional beers.

Cobra was initially delivered by the founders themselves using a small van and developed a distinctive long-necked bottle. The company expanded from restaurants into supermarkets and international markets.

Bilimoria joined Dragons' Den as a Dragon in 2017, bringing experience from Cobra's growth and from his later role in business organisations. He became chairman of the Cobra Beer Partnership after Molson Coors acquired a major stake.

The founder's name is sometimes written with his parliamentary title, Baron Bilimoria, but Karan Bilimoria is the canonical personal answer to this question.
