Touker Suleyman joined the British TV programme Dragon's Den in 2015 after becoming known as a retail entrepreneur.
Suleyman entered the panel in the programme's thirteenth series. He is a British-Turkish Cypriot entrepreneur whose business career has been strongly associated with fashion and retail, including the acquisition and development of clothing businesses.
He became chairman of the fashion company Low Profile Group, which owns the Hawes & Curtis shirt brand and Ghost, the fashion label. These businesses helped establish his public profile before his television appointment.
Suleyman's arrival followed a period of regular cast changes. The date is sometimes confused with the joining dates of Sara Davies or Steven Bartlett, who arrived later. It is also important to distinguish him from retail Dragon Theo Paphitis: both are associated with retail, but they are different investors who served in different periods of the BBC series.
