Which deluxe edition included an acoustic version of Taylor Swift’s “Eldest Daughter”?
Answer
Alone in My Tower Acoustic
The Alone in My Tower Acoustic edition included an acoustic version of Taylor Swift’s “Eldest Daughter.”
The edition was one of four physical CD variants released during the album’s release period. Its acoustic material paired “Eldest Daughter” with an acoustic version of “The Fate of Ophelia.”
The other named editions had different pairings. Dressing Room Rehearsal included “Wish List” and “The Life of a Showgirl,” Life Is a Song Acoustic included “Opalite” and “Ruin the Friendship,” and So Glamorous Cabaret included an acoustic version and demo of “Elizabeth Taylor.”
These editions are easy to mix up because their titles describe presentation styles rather than individual songs. The standard album itself contains the original “Eldest Daughter” as track five; the acoustic version was a later alternate recording.
