Brawl is the Decepticon who transforms into a tank in the 2007 live-action Transformers film.
The film’s Brawl is a modified green M1A1 Abrams tank equipped with a mine plow, extra fuel canisters, a small turret, anti-aircraft cannons, and rocket launchers. He serves as a heavy assault and demolition specialist during the climactic battle in Mission City, where the Autobots and human forces fight the Decepticons.
Brawl is sometimes confused with other vehicle-based Decepticons from the movie. Starscream transforms into a fighter jet, Blackout becomes a military helicopter, and Bonecrusher changes into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle. Brawl’s name also has a continuity wrinkle: some film-related material and merchandise used the name Devastator for this tank, but the 2007 movie’s character is generally identified as Brawl. During the final battle, Ratchet damages him before Bumblebee helps defeat him.
