Which console received Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire as their original platform?
Answer
Game Boy Advance
Answer
Game Boy Advance
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were originally released for the Game Boy Advance.
The games debuted in Japan on November 21, 2002, as the first core Pokémon titles of the third generation. They introduced the Hoenn region and 135 new Pokémon, including the legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre.
Ruby and Sapphire expanded the series with features such as double battles, Pokémon Abilities, and Pokémon Contests. The Game Boy Advance also allowed improved graphics and more complex systems than the original Game Boy hardware.
The games later received enhanced and remake-related releases, including Pokémon Emerald and the Nintendo 3DS titles Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Those later platforms are sometimes mistaken for the originals.
