Which console hosted Pokémon Stadium, the 3D battling game released in the West in 2000?

The story behind the answer

Pokémon Stadium was released for the Nintendo 64.

Developed by Nintendo EAD, the game presented Pokémon battles in a 3D arena rather than the overhead, sprite-based style of the Game Boy titles. It focused on competitive battles, tournament cups, Gym Leader Castle challenges, and several minigames.

The Western version supported all 151 Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. A bundled Transfer Pak allowed players to connect compatible Game Boy cartridges and use their trained Pokémon on the Nintendo 64.

Pokémon Stadium was released in Japan on April 30, 1999, and reached North America on March 6, 2000. Its title can cause confusion because Japan had an earlier, more limited Nintendo 64 game called Pocket Monsters Stadium. The Western Pokémon Stadium was effectively a larger follow-up to that release.
