Which company topped Forbes’ 2021 ranking of the world’s best employers?

Samsung Electronics topped Forbes’ 2021 ranking of the world’s best employers.

Forbes placed the South Korean electronics company first in its 2021 global employer ranking. The list was based on survey responses about employers, including whether people would recommend their company and how they viewed other organizations.

Samsung Electronics operates across areas such as semiconductors, smartphones, displays and consumer electronics. Its international workforce and globally recognized brands helped it stand out in a ranking that compared employers across countries and industries.

A best-employer ranking is different from a company’s most valuable-brand or largest-company ranking. It reflects employee and public perceptions of workplace reputation rather than sales, profits or stock-market value. Those measures can therefore produce different winners.
